- 2Herraje articulado con que se fijan las hojas de las puertas y ventanas al quicial para que al abrirlas y cerrarlas giren sobre aquél. Se compone de dos anillos enlazados, o bien de dos planchitas de metal, una de las cuales lleva una espiga que gira dentro de un tejuelo que hay en la otra pieza; también se aplican los goznes a las tapas de cajas, baúles y otros objetos que necesitan tener un movimiento giratorio.
