Corrections
Errors found on PlainSpell, newest first, with what was wrong and what was changed. Each was fixed in the pipeline, so every page built from the same data changed with it.

Words filed under the wrong language. The Spanish, French, German and Portuguese sections held every entry of that language's Wiktionary, including its entries for other languages: German, Czech and Sami words appeared as French words. Each word is now filed under the language Wiktionary gives it.

Misspellings nobody makes. Pages listed spelling "variants" produced by changing letters (such as rceeive for receive) as known misspellings. They were not observed anywhere. They are removed; only measured misspellings are shown.
- 3
Word pairs chosen by an algorithm. Pages compared words that differ by a letter or two but that nobody confuses (papaya and Papua). Pairs are now published only when people search for them.
- 4
The frequency source was named wrongly. Frequency ranks were credited to the FrequencyWords list; they came from wordfreq. The pages now name wordfreq and give its date.
- 5
Incomplete homophone groups. Groups were built from identical pronunciations and missed words such as there beside their and they're. They now follow Wiktionary's own homophone lists.
- 6
Style guide rulings without a source. Sixty pages stated how named style guides spell a word, without a source a reader could open. They are removed; the word pair pages report Wiktionary's regional labels instead.

Dates. The date shown beside a figure was the day the database was rebuilt, not the day the source was published. Each source line now carries the source's own date.
