C’est une espèce de maladie épidémique qui a régné à Paris depuis l’hiver dernier. Il y en a beaucoup aux filles Sainte-Marie de la rue du Bac et plusieurs en sont mortes. On avoit nommé cette maladie la peste blanche ; en effet la gorge devenoit blanche et la gangrène s’y mettoit en fort peu de temps.
