## Etymology
From Arabic الصَّابِئَة (aṣ-ṣābiʔa), of uncertain origin. Possibly related to Hebrew צָבָא (ṣaḇa, “army, host”) or Classical Mandaic ࡑࡁࡀ (ṣba, “baptizer”).
